The latest to our range, the CL2-B Bench mounted riveter offers an extremely cost
effective option for smaller workshops, whilst at the same time providing flexibility within larger organisations, as an addition to their bulk production plant.
As such these machines meet the requirements of those engaged at all levels of brake & clutch lining assembly, whether they be re-lining depots, heavy transport & P.S.V. workshops, garages or major manufacturers. The tooling supplied allows for riveting of parts across the full range of applications, from private cars through to light & heavy commercial vehicles. Since no castings are used in the construction of the machines, the resultant fabrications is exceptionally strong, thus providing a long working life in all conditions.
The pneumatic cylinder mounted at the rear of the head is connected to the downward moving punch holder by a simple leverage system, giving a riveting stroke of 20mm. The foot pedal can be located from either left or right foot operation.
The CL2-B is capable of de-riveting used linings as well as attaching replacement parts and the tooling provided enables removal of a full range of semi & fully tubular rivets used in the brake and clutch lining trade, up to & including 10mm (3/8”). Changeover of the tooling is easily carried out, riveting punches being located & retained by a spring loaded ball in the top tool, allowing a degree of movement for centralising the punch with the rivet tube. Extractor punches for de-riveting are secured by a grub screw.
A range of anvils is supplied for fitting into the bottom work support, to accommodate various rivet sizes. For extraction purposes, these anvils are removed to allow for removal of the
rivet. Adjustment for variation of rivet length is achieved by rotation of the hand wheel.

Clevtec CL2-B pneumatically operated bench mounted brake & clutch riveter, complete with rivet extraction tooling. For use with semi & fully tubular rivets of shank diameter 3.5mm – 10mm (9/64” – 3/8”) inclusive. Tooling stroke 20mm. This CL2-B is fitted with water filtration equipment as standard. At a working pressure of 5 bar (80 psi), the Clevtec CL2-B will deliver a force at the punch approximately 2.25 tons.
